One of the biggest strengths of JKPL comes from its dry and wet laundry processes. JKPL’s wash process labs in italy contribute a lot towards new research and techniques, where in the focus is to provide our customers with the latest washing techniques acquired from research. The Development centre at JKPL and bulk laundry are synchronized in the equipment type and chemistry in order to eliminate the variables involved in garment processing. This allows for great consistency which enables us great repeatability from development through production. Given this feature, the wash standards that are approved at sampling & research stages can be re-produced on a larger scale in our facility. Our state of the art laundry is equipped with automated garment handling, chemical injection, computerized formula distribution and process controls that assure additional reliability. All equipment is managed by a centralized process control centre that delivers accurate information and the exact amounts of chemicals within the multitude of steps within each wash formula. JKPL’s dry processing team is staffed with cross trained processors that skillfully work garments around the clock according to the processes required in each particular finish. With a keen and clear focus on manufacturing in an eco-friendly approach, using laser technology instead of chemicals to mark washing details. Unique washing machines have been deployed to wash denim jeans with about 60% less water and almost no chemicals. JKPL has implemented a wide range of eco-friendly machines, which covers garment dyeing & washing machines, tumbler dryers, hydro extractors & a complete range of dry processing machines such as spraying cabins, curing ovens, scraping & brushing robots & 3-D wrinkle machines & apparatus. All production capacity within this facility is planned on SAP systems and all pieces are RFID tagged and are visible across entire process life cycle.
